Business Development Manager - Light Industrial Staffing

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess and prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Sell various staffing solutions including temporary, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and workforce management.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored staffing solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams for successful staffing delivery.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and business associations to generate leads.
  • Stay informed on local labor market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular client visits and account management.
  • Expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling staffing solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3+ years of business development experience within the staffing industry.
  • Proven experience selling Light Industrial staffing services.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Bullhorn, HubSpot, Aviont, or similar.
