Job Overview
The Swift Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Lead to identify strategic business opportunities, devise plans to leverage them effectively, and grow the company's customer base and foster partnerships.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide support to the business development team in pursuing leads and managing customer relationships consistent with Swift’s values, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with partners and representatives.
- Search for and evaluate new aerospace opportunities, including R&D, composite manufacturing, engineering services, and UAS sales and services.
- Maintain internal coordination between team members and other teams within Swift, such as Engineering, Program Management, Legal, and Finance.
- Develop knowledge and a thorough understanding of all products and services and apply this knowledge to provide appropriate recommendations/solutions that meet clients' requirements.
- Participate in domestic and international trade shows and business development activities.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical field.
- 2+ years prior experience, preferably in an engineering, technical, manufacturing, or unmanned systems business development role or related field.
- Domestic and international travel is required, driven by business development initiatives.
- An enthusiasm for and broad knowledge of aerospace and UAS technology development.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment; ability to work well under tight deadlines and effectively interact with a wide range of people.
