About the role
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with key clients and prospects within the technology industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the business development team's pipeline and close deals
- Identify and qualify potential clients, conduct market research, and prepare detailed proposals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at target companies
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer success
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry
- Proven track record of successful sales and account management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of HR, payroll, and recruiting systems
- Experience with API integrations and cloud-based solutions
Skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$130K - $170K (OTE: $160K - $250K) + Competitive equity
