About the role

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with key clients and prospects within the technology industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the business development team's pipeline and close deals
  • Identify and qualify potential clients, conduct market research, and prepare detailed proposals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at target companies
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer success

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry
  • Proven track record of successful sales and account management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • Passion for technology and a deep understanding of HR, payroll, and recruiting systems
  • Experience with API integrations and cloud-based solutions

Skills

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$130K - $170K (OTE: $160K - $250K) + Competitive equity
