About the role

DriverX Mobile is seeking a talented and passionate Software Development professional to join our team. You will play a key role in building and enhancing the technology that powers our fleet and logistics solutions, gig and delivery driver platforms, and telematics & IoT integrations. This role is critical to delivering a seamless, reliable experience for our drivers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications and systems that support our core business lines, including fleet management, connectivity plans, and partner integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and IoT engineering, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to our platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of projects or contributions.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web frameworks, APIs, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with telematics, IoT, or mobile communications is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Skills

• Full-stack development capabilities (front-end and back-end).
• Understanding of software security principles and data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Ability to write technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
