Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automotive / Electrical) or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the automotive or e‑mobility domain, preferably with exposure to engineering services or technical products.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with automotive customers (e.g., passenger car, CV, off‑road, or EV OEMs) and handling end‑to‑end deal cycles from lead generation to closure.
  • Strong techno‑commercial acumen with ability to understand automotive systems (fuel injection, ECUs, VCU, IoT, lab equipment) and translate them into customer value propositions.
  • Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams (software, mechanical, hardware, supply chain, quality) and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with comfort interacting at senior customer levels.

Preferred skills

  • Experience in business development for SDV/software‑defined vehicle services, e‑mobility solutions, or powertrain systems.
  • Exposure to global customers and multicultural environments (e.g., Germany, USA, China, Japan) and familiarity with OEM decision‑making processes.
  • Knowledge of project management and quality tools (PMBOK, DRBFM, FMEA, Six Sigma) to support proposal credibility and execution tracking.
