About the role

The Business Development Executive will join Advanced Paperbag, a division of API Holding, focused on sustainable packaging solutions. This position is part of a larger team dedicated to innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Identify midsized or enterprise businesses to offer Advance Paperbag solutions.
  • Achieve sales goals determined by management.
  • Demonstrate B2B sales expertise, including addressing customer inquiries and closing sales.
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly business needs with prospects and customers to achieve sales and gross profit goals.
  • Cultivate new sales through networking, cold calling, and digital marketing.
  • Maintain continuous growth within existing accounts.
  • Respond to web leads using video meeting platforms and/or phone meetings to close sales.
  • Ensure a positive experience with all interactions, including with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in securing new 6-figure B2B contracts.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Experience with CRM.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship development skills.
  • Valid Driver License and clean MVR.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • Industry experience selling packaging solutions, such as packaging films and materials.
  • Familiarity with delivering solutions to companies needing packaging solutions.
