Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new IT staffing clients across the US, Canada market.
- Develop relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Hiring Managers, Procurement teams, MSPs, and Vendor Management organizations.
- Generate new IT staffing opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals, networking, and other sales channels.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of IT contract and direct-hire requirements.
- Bring in new client accounts and establish long-term business relationships.
- Understand client technology requirements and collaborate with recruiting/delivery teams to fulfill open positions.
- Work with clients across technologies such as Software Development, AI, Data & Analytics, Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, ERP, CRM, Infrastructure, QA, and other IT domains.
- Manage the complete business development lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification through client acquisition and account growth.
- Identify opportunities through MSP/VMS programs and direct client relationships.
- Partner with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment and strong client satisfaction.
- Support Non-IT staffing opportunities when applicable, including areas such as administrative, professional, operations, or other staffing requirements.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, client interactions, and revenue opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or Account Development within the IT Staffing/Recruitment industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring new IT staffing clients and generating technology staffing requirements.
- Strong understanding of the US IT staffing market.
- Existing relationships with US-based clients, hiring managers, MSPs, VMS programs, or enterprise organizations preferred.
- Experience with C2C, W2, Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Direct Hire staffing models.
- Strong understanding of IT technologies and the ability to have business-level conversations around technical staffing requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong cold-calling, prospecting, networking, and lead-generation capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet business development and revenue targets.
