Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and develop new federal and state healthcare contracting opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with government contracting officers, agency representatives, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and industry days to generate business opportunities.
- Monitor government procurement portals and proposal-tracking systems for upcoming solicitations.
- Led proposal efforts, including strategy development, pricing coordination, and submission management.
- Review cost proposals and maintain cost and pricing data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned contractual matters throughout all phases of contract administration.
- Ensure contract activities comply with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay current on industry trends and changes to contracting laws, regulations, and acquisition practices.
- Establish annual business development goals and provide weekly progress updates to leadership.
- Perform additional business development and contract-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience and training may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of business development experience.
- Experience with government contracting strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in business development, capture management, or contract management.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
