Key Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in industrial and marine engine markets.
- Promote MTU and ZF Engineering engine solutions for industrial, marine, and power applications.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product/technical recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and technical proposals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and act as the main point of contact.
- Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure accurate product specifications and after-sales support.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
- Attend exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events to represent the company.
- Achieve sales targets, report regularly on business development progress, and maintain CRM records.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and regional sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE business regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with government and port authorities for project support and client coordination where applicable.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales (preferably in engines, heavy machinery, or power systems).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in a European language is required.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in the UAE or GCC market is preferred.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Experience working with MTU engines, ZF Engineering products, or similar high-performance engine systems is an advantage.
