About the role

Hire, train, develop and scale a world class team of SDRs (Sales Development Representatives).

Plan, forecast and achieve results based on our business strategy and customer needs.

Collaborate with marketing and executive stakeholders to align the SDR team’s contribution to high level and detailed business goals and leading indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement processes for outbound sales prospecting of customers and partners.
  • Create and implement processes for inbound sales activities, by working closely with marketing.
  • Set up and manage an inbound call center, for handling leads generated from online advertising.
  • Recruit independent sales representatives and create and implement strategies to motivate and engage them for driving results.
  • Continually optimize and test new sales methods and channels.
  • Lead continuous process improvement, contributing to the team’s growth and success of the broader GTM function.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in sales or business development roles.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Development Director.
  • Proven track record in scaling global SDR organizations, developing multi-year strategies and delivering key results.
  • Call center management experience with inbound digital advertising leads (marketing qualified leads, or MQLs), including building processes and managing metrics around leads to contracts conversion ratios.
  • PREFERABLY should have inbound call center dialer management experience, for achieving speed to lead, and high contact ratios, for incoming leads generated from digital advertising.
  • Demonstrated proof of having integrated marketing/advertising lead generation with sales call centers, and sales closers, to optimize conversion ratios.
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales prospecting, including telemarketing, cold calling and outbound email campaigns.
  • PREFERRED SKILL: Hands on experience in setting up and managing an Inbound call center, including building processes, tools, and training aimed at maximizing the conversion ratio of leads generated from online advertising.
  • PREFERRED SKILL: Prior experience in attracting and engaging referral and resell partners.
  • PREFERRED SKILL: Understanding of inbound sales processes in support of marketing channels such as facebook, linkedin, and google advertising.
  • PREFERRED SKILL: PRIOR EXPERIENCE in recruiting and motivating independent sales affiliates.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and overcome obstacles through creative thinking.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of the SDR function.
  • Analytical skills in designing, tracking and reporting on key funnel metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
