About the role
Lead business development and capture efforts for opportunities targeting the U.S. Navy in the Columbia, Maryland area. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to win new contracts
- Identify, qualify, and pursue potential business opportunities
- Prepare and present proposals to clients
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and/or sales
- Strong understanding of federal contracting processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in winning new business
- Experience working with the U.S. Navy or other defense contractors
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite

Full-time, Monday through Friday
