Responsibilities

• Research and knowledge of company functions and capabilities
• Maintaining standard understanding of the basic functions and duties of construction flaggers and traffic controllers
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Brainstorming with the business development team to create new project strategies
• Managing company and client expectations
• Managing relationships with current and prospective clients using email, phones, as well as arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations.
• Finding and following new sales leads
• Attending networking events and company functions, sometimes outside of normal business hours
• Supporting the needs of crews in the field
• Perform administrative functions

Business Development Requirements and Qualifications

• Goal-oriented, organized team player
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in email

Required

• Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (NO DUI’s or excessive points)
• All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard drug screen and fit for duty physical
