Business Development Analyst - Hospital Medicine
About the role
This position supports business operations and growth across the system through reporting and visualization of demographic, market, encounter, and other data visualizations. The role involves conducting secondary and primary data research, presenting data visually, and building relationships with providers and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and forecast demographic and health care service trends
- Develop reporting to support analysis of services and growth opportunities
- Consistently gather, validate, analyze, report, and act on data collected
- Measure effectiveness of physician placement, marketing tactics, and provider outreach
- Gather and analyze competitor data and market conditions
- Convert data into digestible information packets
- Convert relevant information into easily understandable visualizations
- Segment and analyze consumer and prospect data and customer preferences
- Build relationships with providers and service line management
- Gather, analyze and report regularly market share, referral, and trend data
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or Market Research with two (2) years of experience in business intelligence, strategy support, analytics, data warehouse extraction, or data visualization. Preferred qualifications include a Certification in Market Research and/or Analytics or Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) certification with five (5) years of experience in these fields.
Qualifications
