Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
- Conduct and defend fact and expert depositions
- Lead discovery strategy, including e-discovery coordination
- Support trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
- Advis clients on litigation risk and dispute strategy
- Work directly with in-house counsel and business stakeholders
- Supervise junior associates and collaborate across offices
Who You Are
- 4th–7th year associate (counsel-level candidates may also be considered)
- Experience in complex commercial litigation at a comparable law firm
- Strong motion drafting and advocacy experience
- Experience handling substantive litigation tasks independently
- Background in commercial disputes, including contract disputes, business torts and fiduciary duty claims
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
- Prior DOJ experience is a plus
- Admitted to the Texas Bar or eligible for prompt admission
