Business & Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time Practice Area: Business & Commercial Litigation About The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Business & Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience who is looking to work on sophisticated, high-stakes business and commercial disputes while gaining substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and courtroom experience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional academic credentials, have graduated from a top-tier law school, and have experience handling complex business and commercial litigation matters. Experience in employment, real estate, and securities litigation is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Manage and support all phases of complex business and commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal.Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, legal briefs, and other substantive litigation documents.Conduct in-depth legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.Manage written discovery, document review, and discovery disputes.Take and defend depositions.Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and assist with trial proceedings.Collaborate closely with partners on case strategy, client counseling, and litigation planning.Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic case updates.Deliver high-quality legal work while managing multiple complex litigation matters. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Graduation from a top law school with exceptional academic credentials is required.Active admission to the Minnesota Bar and in good standing.3-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm environment.Significant experience in Business Litigation and Commercial Litigation is strongly preferred.Experience in Employment Litigation and Real Estate Litigation is highly preferred.Securities Litigation experience is preferred but not required.Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with clients.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative litigation practice.
