About the role

The Business Analyst will work directly with the Senior Director of Program Management across three areas: strategy and market research, business operations, and customer renewal programs. This is a generalist role that suits someone who is comfortable switching between big-picture analysis and hands-on execution, and who wants real responsibility from the start. It is a strong entry point for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure to how a global software business works.

Responsibilities

Strategy and market intelligence

  • Support development of the Americas go-to-market strategy, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and opportunity identification
  • Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer segments, turning findings into clear briefings and presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Build and maintain a competitive intelligence tracker covering key players in the HCM and Accountancy software markets
  • Help prepare materials for leadership reviews and strategic planning cycles
  • Work on ad hoc strategic projects as business priorities shift

Business operations

  • Support the design and upkeep of program trackers, making sure key Americas priorities have clear owners, milestones, and status visibility
  • Spot operational inefficiencies and contribute to process improvement work across the Americas team
  • Help coordinate cross-functional projects, tracking actions and keeping workstreams on schedule
  • Analyze business performance data and pull out insights to support day-to-day decision-making
  • Contribute to the team's AI agenda, evaluating tools, identifying use cases, and helping embed AI-powered workflows

Customer renewal programs

  • Support the management and tracking of customer renewal pipelines across the Americas, working alongside Customer Success
  • Analyze renewal data to identify at-risk accounts, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Help build and maintain renewal dashboards and reporting in Salesforce
  • Assist in preparing renewal review materials and supporting customer-facing program governance

Requirements

  • Essential Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business, economics, finance, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, operations, or consulting
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to draw structured conclusions from data
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior audiences
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail and good organizational habits
  • Able to work independently in an environment where priorities shift
  • Genuine interest in the software industry and how technology businesses grow

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude
  • Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or B2B technology
  • Experience supporting customer success, renewals, or account management teams
  • Some exposure to financial modelling or P&L analysis
