Business Analyst (Remote Position) - Newport Beach, CA

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and technical teams to gather, clarify, and prioritize functional needs for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement initiatives.
• Analyze current workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend scalable improvements that increase efficiency across sales, service, and field operations.
• Convert business objectives into detailed requirements, user stories, process maps, and supporting documentation for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and project stakeholders to design and refine solutions built on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.
• Support implementation efforts by validating configurations, coordinating user acceptance testing, and ensuring solutions align with operational expectations.
• Help establish adoption strategies, usage standards, and governance practices that promote consistent and effective platform utilization.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to keep projects aligned, informed, and moving forward.
• Monitor solution performance after deployment, gather feedback from users, and drive ongoing enhancements based on business value.
• Contribute to integration planning for Dynamics 365 with Microsoft applications, Azure services, or external systems when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis supporting enterprise applications or business systems.
• At least 4 years of practical experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service, with Field Service knowledge considered beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving business process improvement and solution delivery.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in gap analysis, documentation, and requirements development.
• Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum environments and communicating effectively with both business and technical audiences.
• Exposure to advanced platform capabilities, automation technologies, or AI-enabled process improvements is preferred.
