Business Analyst/Project Manager

About the role

TXNM Energy seeks a mid‑senior level Business Analyst/Project Manager to support cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives while helping to scale and mature an established PMO. The role is hybrid (3 days on‑site) in Lewisville, TX and is a contract‑to‑hire position.

Responsibilities

• Support and help lead execution of cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives
• Gather and clarify business and technical requirements as needed
• Coordinate across business, IT, and cybersecurity teams to keep projects moving forward
• Manage and support project tracking and timelines
• Provide status reporting and stakeholder communication
• Track risks and issues
• Contribute to building structure around documentation, reporting, PMO processes and governance standards

Requirements

• Experience working within a defined PMO that is actively evolving or maturing
• Ability to balance established processes with changing tools, priorities, and workflows
• Background supporting and/or leading IT, cybersecurity, or infrastructure initiatives
• Experience driving execution across cross‑functional technical and business teams
• Exposure to project budgeting, tracking, or financial reporting (preferred)
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across business, IT, cybersecurity, and leadership
• Ability to gather, clarify, and document requirements to support execution
