Business Analyst - NC
Job Summary
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution. This role will support regulatory and compliance initiatives within Corporate & Investment Banking by analyzing regulatory requirements, assessing business impacts, defining requirements, and driving alignment across compliance, legal, operations, technology, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Business Analyst with strong analytical capabilities and deep understanding of regulatory environments—not a Project Manager.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze regulatory requirements and assess impacts across business, operations, legal, compliance, and technology teams
- Gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions
- Support regulatory reporting and data analysis activities
- Partner with stakeholders across CIB and business units to ensure alignment on requirements and objectives
- Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and business impacts resulting from regulatory changes
- Produce high-quality documentation within established SLAs and timelines
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and requirements workshops
- Provide deep analysis and recommendations beyond surface-level problem identification
- Support implementation of regulatory and compliance-driven initiatives
Top Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with a focus on regulatory and compliance initiatives
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking operations, and regulatory reporting
- Proven ability to analyze regulatory impacts and gather detailed business requirements
Plusses
- Experience supporting Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or frontline banking teams
- Experience with enterprise regulatory programs and large-scale compliance initiatives
- Knowledge of U.S. and/or global financial regulatory frameworks
