Business Analyst (IT-IT Project Management)

About the role

Demonstrates customer interface/relationship skills and performs well in the Senior Business Analyst role with teams. Provides direction to peer/junior resources. Defines high-level application, relationships, flows, implementation of business (processes, activities, functions, information), applications, and creates business and system use cases or functional specifications. Analyzes complex and new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing plans and solutions to customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Independently creates business requirement documents (BRD) that sets out project requirements including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines.
• Focuses skills and experience on projects and oversees acceptance testing.
• Contributes to the development of user guides and provides user training.
• Supports the user in the development of work processes.
• Collaborates with scrum master to track progress of sprints (Sprint log, % difference between user stories planned and deployed).
• Participates in resolving any functional issues in the post-production environment during the cutover period.

Requirements

• Works with clients from Retail, Client, and Logistics industries.
• Aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science (B.E./ B.Tech / BCA).
• Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science (M.Tech / MCA).
• MBA preferred from Tier 1/2 business schools.
