About the role

Serves in SaaS Operations of the Enterprise Architecture Department in the Office of Technology at the Headquarters Office. Ensures the effectiveness of developed applications by providing technical assistance and guidance to Airports Authority departments, conducting software module training, and serving as the liaison between business areas, technical teams, and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into IT solutions and provide functional support, analysis, and technical coordination of software systems and applications.
  • Design, develop, and implement business applications; define business process improvements; assist in gathering information for data-driven decision making; perform and support quality assurance initiatives; and define requirements within a scrum/agile environment.
  • Develop and present recommendations to adjust functional procedures that solve complex system problems, support data integrity, and improve efficiency by leveraging automated system capabilities.
  • Provide functional support for application and data issues, identifying options and decisions that align technology implementations with the Airports Authority’s overall mission.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive software systems; test systems and specifications; apply enhancements to meet current and future requirements; and resolve end-user support and training issues.
  • Define application data problems, conduct root cause analysis, and initiate actions to resolve identified issues.
  • Develop, design, create, and document reports (e.g., revenue, finance) for end-users.
  • Coordinate testing of new software and upgrades to ensure solutions meet user needs; secure sign-off and assist in future maintenance.
  • Conduct and coordinate sprint reviews and user acceptance testing for applications.
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces between developed and existing systems to automate workflows.
  • Develop and maintain production processing schedules for applications to ensure proper integration with new and existing systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide software systems (e.g., ERP, Business Intelligence, web, or mobile applications).
  • Knowledge of software systems and skill in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing major software upgrades, new releases, and installations.
  • Ability to organize and assign test teams, coordinate implementation schedules and work tasks, and manage program fixes.
  • Knowledge of and ability to maintain major enterprise systems and supported business processes, including integrated software package functionality.
  • Knowledge of and skill in using Business Intelligence and reporting systems, providing end-user support, and training users on system features and related applications.
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis and make actionable recommendations.
  • Skill in managing multiple major projects concurrently while ensuring coordination and integration among related efforts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with an emphasis on translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from the Data Management Association International (DAMA-I).
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, OBIEE, TMS, and/or PROPworks.

Certifications and Licenses

  • A valid state driver’s license in good standing.

Work is typically reviewed in progress and upon completion for quantity, quality, teamwork, customer service, and other factors. A background security investigation will be required for all new hires.
