Business Analyst II, Production Operations

About the role

Our back‑office team at FIS Brown Deer oversees monitoring and working repetitive tasks for FIS ACH Tracker clients. You’ll work with three employees and occasional remote workers, monitoring the processing of billions of dollars of ACH payments. This is a full‑time, second‑shift position.

Responsibilities

• Submit ACH processing windows at specific times during the day.
• Validate ACH batch processing jobs on the mainframe in Control‑M.
• Perform critical validation of files to and from the Federal Reserve and Clearing House.
• Complete customer ticket requests to process, stop, or reverse ACH payments (≈50+ tickets daily with 100% accuracy).
• Take phone calls and answer emails from clients professionally, often redirecting them to the correct support team.
• Cover additional tasks and increased workload when a coworker is off.
• Work independently after training, including occasional Friday night coverage (10 pm until the close of ACH operations).

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks with 100% accuracy.
• High attention to detail.
• Dedication, reliability, and flexibility to work early or stay late as business needs dictate.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Computer skills and PC problem‑solving ability are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Business Administration (desired).
• Banking background, production/operations support, or computer operations experience (preferred).

Skills

• Ten‑key typing proficiency.

Schedule

Second Shift – Monday – Thursday: 2 pm – 10 pm Central Time; Friday: 5 pm – 1 am Central Time. May be required to work later until processing is completed.
