Business Analyst - Default Systems & Support
About the Role
The Business Analyst - Default Systems & Support will play a key role in supporting various departments in default, including Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, and Post-Foreclosure. Their primary objective is to optimize the utilization of key business workflow software such as Black Knight LoanSphere, Tableau, and other workflow systems. This role involves analyzing system configuration, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing workflow changes and automation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units, IT partners, internal departments, and external firms to optimize system utilization.
- Create reports and assist business units with ad hoc data requests.
- Proactively analyze and identify system enhancements to streamline workflow processes and improve efficiencies.
- Manage a project list, prioritize tasks based on cost-benefit analysis, and conduct prioritization meetings with business unit management.
- Create and communicate detailed technical requirements to IT partners and non-technical team members.
- Develop process flows, job aids, and procedures for foreclosure, bankruptcy, property preservation, and post-foreclosure processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for system troubleshooting, oversight reporting, and implementing system enhancements.
- Create, manage, and oversee ongoing enhancements of automation for default workflow systems.
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, quantitative, or analytical discipline is preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in mortgage or default servicing is preferred.
Skills
- Demonstrated analytical and business communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel (charts, formulas, pivots) and other data manipulation software.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL.
- Fast learner, able to assimilate new ideas quickly.
- Experience with Tableau, BlackKnight LoanSphere, Python, Visio, and process documentation is a plus.
Additional Information
This is an on-site role, not remote. All employees must have smartphones that meet Company security standards, capable of installing apps like Microsoft Authenticator. Employment is contingent on this requirement.
