Business Analyst
Our client is seeking a Senior Banking Analytics Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor within a large financial institution, helping drive reporting strategy, analytics optimization, and executive decision-making.
About the role
In this role, you will assess complex reporting environments, lead report rationalization initiatives, develop KPI/KRI frameworks, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leaders and product teams. You'll partner closely with directors, business leaders, and stakeholders to improve reporting effectiveness, optimize data usage, and support new product launches.

Requirements
- 7+ years of banking analytics experience
- Strong mortgage, real estate lending, HELOC, or credit risk background
- Experience within large banks, financial institutions, or lending organizations
- Expertise in report rationalization, KPI/KRI development, and reporting strategy
- Advanced SQL and SAS skills (Tableau preferred)
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders through strategic recommendations
Ideal Backgrounds
Experience at USAA, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, Citi, PNC, Truist, mortgage servicers, or other large lending institutions. If you've successfully transformed analytics and reporting programs while supporting mortgage-related products and portfolios, we'd love to connect.
This is a contract role through year-end, available remotely or onsite.
Pay
Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range for this role is provided as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
