Responsibilities
- Build and refine reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide visibility into sales results, pipeline activity, pricing patterns, product performance, and customer behavior.
- Evaluate performance across accounts, territories, channels, product lines, and customer groups to uncover trends, risks, and areas for growth.
- Prepare regular and on-demand analysis for leadership, translating findings into practical recommendations that support business decisions.
- Contribute to forecast planning by reviewing underlying data, assessing historical trends, and highlighting factors that may affect accuracy or results.
- Monitor key sales and incentive metrics to ensure reporting is timely, reliable, and aligned with business expectations.
- Collaborate with finance and other business partners to support consistency between forecasting, revenue analysis, and performance measurement.
- Review existing reporting methods and business processes to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, stronger consistency, and improved customer outcomes.
- Work with sales operations and related teams to document, streamline, and enhance workflows, procedures, and reporting standards.
- Provide analytical support for initiatives such as pricing strategy, territory alignment, customer segmentation, and broader go-to-market planning.
- Aid in the adoption of new tools, updated processes, and reporting changes by supporting cross-functional change management efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, sales analysis, or sales operations.
- Strong ability to interpret data, solve problems, and convert findings into clear business insights.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formula-based analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with sales analytics, revenue reporting, and sales forecasting.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid business judgment and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
