Business Analyst
About the role
The role focuses on systems analysis, requirements gathering, data analysis, integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, testing, and Agile delivery in a financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Bridge business and technology teams through systems analysis and requirements gathering
- Analyze data, develop use cases, create user stories, perform gap analysis, and manage feasibility and impact
- Create process flowcharts, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and document system configurations
- Develop API concepts, lifecycle management, and batch/event-driven processing workflows
- Achieve workflow/process automation using methodologies like Agile/Scrum
- Work in a matrixed organization and have exposure to quality assurance and test automation
- Gain exposure to AWS Cloud, APIs, integrations, event-driven architecture, and workflow automation
- Understand data design fundamentals, model data, and automate tests
- Have a solid understanding of the financial services domain
Requirements
- 2+ years of Systems Analysis or Business Analysis experience
- Experience in IT, Financial Services, or a related technology environment
- Bachelor's degree (Technology-related field preferred)
- Core Business Analysis Skills: Requirements elicitation and documentation, Data analysis and data mapping, Use case development, User story creation and story mapping, Gap analysis, Feasibility and impact analysis, Process flowcharting, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System configuration/setup documentation
- Technical Skills: Understanding of application integrations, APIs and integrations, Event-driven processing, Workflow/process automation, Methodologies: Agile/Scrum experience preferred
- Experience working in matrixed organizations
- Exposure to quality assurance and test automation
- Preferred Technical Knowledge: AWS Cloud, APIs and integrations, Event-driven architecture, Workflow automation, Data modeling and data mapping, Test automation practices, Financial services domain knowledge

Pay
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $50000 - $70000/per annum.
