Core Responsibilities
- Lead workshops, interviews, and focus groups with cross-functional stakeholders to extract, analyze, and prioritize complex business requirements.
- Document requirements through detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and data models.
- Participate in system design sessions to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
- Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coverage of system deployment, data migration, and rollout of new or enhanced applications.
- Coordinate and participate in testing and quality assurance activities, including defining UAT strategies, writing test scenarios, and validating deliverables.
- Support users by serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for core functional business tools, developing training materials, conducting user training sessions, and providing advanced Tier-2/Tier-3 support.
- Evaluate and improve business processes and system workflows to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Advanced Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous data from multiple sources into clear, structured requirements.
- Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of SDLC models (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) and familiarity with data tools (SQL queries, data mapping tools, or reporting dashboards).
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a track record of successfully managing expectations across diverse user groups and leadership levels.
- Tools: Proficiency with business analysis and project tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Clickup, Figma, or equivalent).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years of directly related experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project environments.
