Business Analyst

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and documenting complex business processes related to Medicaid eligibility and enrollment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes and create and review test plans.
• Document, communicate, and validate requirements throughout the system, process, or product/service development lifecycle for all changes.
• Provide written communications to business owners, IT program team members, and management.
• Work with Health Insurance or the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid which includes Eligibility and Enrollment (not Health Care).
• Use ETL tools, batch jobs, Rational Quality Manager, Report Development using IBM Cognos or HIPAA compliant X12 format for EDI transactions.
• Review and evaluate technical specifications for compliance with business objectives and requirements.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases against documented design use cases; perform testing, review results, and document defects using a defect management tool.

• 84 months of experience in Information Technology supporting complex software systems or applications.
• 84 months of experience analyzing complex business processes and creating and reviewing test plans.
• 84 months of experience documenting, communicating, and validating requirements throughout the system, process, or product/service development lifecycle for all changes.
• 84 months of experience providing written communications to business owners, IT program team members, and management.
• 84 months of experience working with Health Insurance or the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid which includes Eligibility and Enrollment (not Health Care).

$75,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
