Business Analyst

About the role

Support the organization, achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization.
• Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
• Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
• Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
• Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with demo demonstrated success as an Agile Business Analyst on large scale technology projects within investment banking, financial services, ideally with exposure to compliance.
• Considerable experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements using a range of techniques, workshops, journey mapping, user stories, and process modelling across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• The ability to translate colleague and business needs into clear problem statements, functional requirements, and value hypotheses that inform solution design and prioritization.
• Experience working closely with developers, solution architects, and product owners to ensure requirements are feasible, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and target architectures.
• Considerable analytical thinking to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and productivity improvement across end-to-end colleague processes.

Skills

• Formal training in business analysis and change management such as ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis from the British Computer Society, BCS or Certified Business Analysis Professional, CBAP from the International Institute of Business Analysis, IIBA.
• Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Co-Pilot.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $115,000
Maximum Salary: $155,000
