Business Analyst
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions team. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities, improve processes, and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and business performance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who can translate business needs into actionable requirements, support application enhancements, and help deliver high-impact projects across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic initiatives while driving continuous improvement across business operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and solution recommendations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and solution design discussions.
- Support a portfolio of business applications through enhancement requests, issue analysis, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver successful solutions.
- Participate in all phases of project delivery, including discovery, planning, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and optimization.
- Develop process documentation, workflow diagrams, and business requirements artifacts.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solution quality, and support issue resolution.
- Contribute to change management efforts, user adoption initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting applications, systems, or business transformation initiatives.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating process maps, workflows, and business documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications and operational processes.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or similar business platforms.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, or related certifications are a plus.
