About the role

This position is a 10-month contract to start in Phoenix, AZ. The role will be 100% remote until the end of this year, with a couple of days in the office starting next year.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business processes, systems and user needs.
• Leverage an Agile framework to participate in product delivery teams.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements.
• Communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and business information to a technical audience.
• Analyze business requirements to identify/suggest feature requirements, develop user stories, assist in identifying and documenting the scope of work procedures and decision flows.
• Identify, document, and communicate complex requirements across systems and business domains.
• Support development teams in obtaining clarification of requirements/features from business units in a timely manner to avoid delays in the development cycle.
• Champion the right technical solutions based on documentable facts.
• Support Agile methodologies and attend daily scrum meetings.
• Plan and report on projects and project options.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in technical business analysis.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in scrum/agile environments; Scrum certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of lean methodologies like Agile, Scrum as well as Waterfall.
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining Agile Product Backlogs.
• Strong experience in Eliciting, Detailing, Documenting and Validating requirements.
• Strong understanding of process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and database structures.
• Knowledge of current Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, ASP.Net, Cloud development and Google Workspace.
• Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) certification preferred.
• Experience conducting and/or leading technical meetings.
• Experience supporting Agile methodologies and attending daily scrum meetings.
• Experience supporting team in planning and reporting of projects and project options.
• Experience generating requirements from business units and using business requirement documents.
• Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes.
• Working knowledge of server/storage/networking/javajava script/project management/distributed/business analysis.
• Intermediate in Salesforce, SQL Database, ADABAS/DB2, Oracle Database, Scrum, Agile, IT Testing, QA Processes, Mainframe.
