Bus Monitor - IDEA Alamo (Immediate Opening)
About the role
The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips, with particular attention to the youngest scholars (Pre‑Kindergarten) and special education students. We look for Team and Family members who believe in our mission, are committed to being agents of change, demonstrate effective outcomes, act with urgency, thrive in a high‑growth environment, seek feedback, and uphold high standards of conduct and professionalism. At IDEA Public Schools, we believe every child can go to college. Since 2000 we have grown from a small school of 150 students to a multi‑state network of tuition‑free Pre‑K‑12 public charter schools, nationally ranked by The Washington Post and U.S. News & World Report, serving over 80,000 college‑bound students across Texas, Florida, and Ohio, with a legacy of sending 100% of graduates to college. As part of the IDEA Team and Family, you will work alongside colleagues who set and reach ambitious goals, embrace growth, and strive to make college for all a reality, supported by our Staff Culture and Belonging Team’s focus on integrity, respect, and belonging.
