Bus Driver (Senior Center)

About the Role
The Town of Hudson seeks a Bus Driver to operate multi-passenger vehicles for the Hudson Senior Center, transporting senior citizens to and from various Council on Aging programs. Duties include ensuring the safety of passengers, making daily checks on buses, and assisting with errands.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the safety of transporting elderly people to various destinations.
- Makes frequent contact with the general public.
- Assists senior citizens with various errands such as carrying groceries.
- Reports injuries or possible failing health or abuse to the Council on Aging Director.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Experience in driving and working with the elderly.
- Valid Massachusetts Driver license.
- One and a half to three years of experience required.
Qualifications
- Skill in handling bus controls.
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations for driving a bus.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Overall mechanical understanding of buses.

Benefits
This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $35,698 to $46,976 annually.
