Key Responsibilities
- The completion of assigned cleaning, groundskeeping, trash removal, and light maintenance duties, including:
- Cleaning & Property Appearance
- Cleaning interior common areas, including hallways, community rooms, offices, restrooms, and other shared spaces.
- Cleaning vacant apartments in preparation for new residents.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Cleaning windows, glass doors, and other building fixtures.
- Monitoring and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the property.
- Trash Removal & Groundskeeping
- Collecting and disposing of trash from common areas and grounds.
- Maintaining cleanliness of dumpster and trash enclosure areas.
- Removing litter and debris from interior and exterior property areas.
- Assisting with groundskeeping duties to maintain an attractive property appearance.
- Performing seasonal duties, including light snow removal and salting/sanding walkways.
- Light Maintenance
- Plumbing tasks such as snaking toilets and completing other minor repairs.
- Basic electrical tasks such as changing light bulbs, outlet covers, and smoke detector batteries.
- Changing furnace filters.
- Installing blinds and other minor apartment fixtures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces.
- Dependable, self-motivated professional with some experience in light general maintenance.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Engage in interpersonal communication that is culturally responsive.

- Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend and kneel for extended periods of time; lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally; use hands and fingers to grasp, twist and pull; withstand external weather conditions.
Compensation, Schedule, & Location
- Pays $20-$23 per hour depending on experience and skillset.

- No on-call; full-time position following a Monday – Friday schedule from 8:30am-5pm.
- Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the role, including occasional adjustments for resident events, community activities, meetings, or other property-related responsibilities.
- In-person role based at the assigned property, with occasional work at Aeon's Central Office, training facilities, or other properties as needed.
