About the role
This is a third shift supervisor position from 10:00pm – 6:30am Monday through Friday. This is a non-bargaining, Exempt, grade 23 position.
Essential Functions
- Perform various supervisory functions for assigned staff such as assigning specific duties to staff, establishing priorities/deadlines and monitoring and evaluating work performance.
- Evaluate the training needs of staff and coordinate/conduct in-house training.
- Review and approve timesheets; make corrections as needed.
- Schedule, assign, inspect, and review work of assigned staff to ensure work is performed according to established standards.
- Provide oversight for contractors (obtain/review bids, supervise and guide work, complete purchase orders, inspect, and sign off completed jobs).
- Aid in implementing systematic team cleaning and GS 42.
- Maintain chemical safety data sheets (SDS) documentation.
- Create, track, and complete work orders using work order database.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. and any combination of education, training, and experience providing understanding of the trade and the ability to perform the duties of the job.
- Six years of progressively responsible experience performing and leading others in building custodial work.
- The equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $55,830 - $72,567 hourly. Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $89,304.
