About the role
Delivers Parks and Recreation building maintenance materials daily between branches and delivers items from vendors; Loads/unloads bins from vehicle at multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Uses ticketing system to maintain record of repairs
- Performs electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs as required
- Responsible for painting facilities
- Assembles and moves furniture and equipment as needed
- Maintains routine check on general condition of buildings assigned
- Pick up trash from parking lot and grounds of all branches
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year job related experience
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Knowledge of ticketing software
- Problem solving and mechanical skills
- Familiarity with painting tools and materials
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills along with the ability to deal effectively with people
Pay
$17.60 - $22.00 hourly based on qualifications
