Enterprise Mobility is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building assets, ensuring facilities and equipment are in optimal condition for customers and employees.
About the role
This position is based out of 3005 Broadmoor Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49512, and will service multiple locations across Western Michigan, including Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Lansing, Muskegon, Cadillac, and Traverse City. Tools, a company vehicle, and gas for workday travel are provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine general maintenance and repair work, including light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and snow/ice removal
- Complete work orders in a timely manner, whether generated by call-in requests or the preventive maintenance schedule
- Execute duties outlined in the company’s preventive maintenance program
- Troubleshoot general building problems
- Move items as needed (e.g., furniture, file cabinets, boxes, artwork)
- Deliver office and building supplies
- Install small appliances and equipment (e.g., pressure washers, air compressors)
- Work outside in all weather conditions and temperatures, as well as in a typical office environment
- Operate a variety of equipment, including vehicles (e.g., 15-passenger vans, airport buses), safety belts, 2-way radios, phones, computers/tablets, printers, fax machines, and cleaning tools
- Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- One year or more of hands-on general building maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Current and valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
- At least 18 years of age
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Enjoys hands-on projects and providing excellent customer service
- Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is preferred
Pay
Starting rate of pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
