Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and install facility fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, wall coverings, windows, doors, and partitions.
• Identify and address safety issues on the sales floor and throughout the store.
• Assist with floor moves, building of displays, and other miscellaneous duties relating to the retail floor.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of all amusement rides, attractions, and simulators.
• Assist outside service companies and vendors with facility areas not maintained in-house, including but not limited to: escalators, elevators, conveyors, HVAC, boilers, irrigation systems, sprinkler systems, generators, aquariums, restaurant equipment, and landscaping.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all equipment and tools, and use them properly.
• Work collaboratively as a teammate and assist other associates with tasks as needed.
• Perform physically demanding tasks independently and problem-solve effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate’s degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Very heavy work – exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Must follow all safety procedures to minimize the risk of injury.

Schedule

Must be available to work the assigned schedule, typically Monday through Friday. Hours may vary and include evenings and holidays as needed.
