Sales Engineer / Estimator (Building Automation)

What You Will Do:
- Build and manage customer relationships
- Understand project requirements and provide tailored automation solutions
- Play a key role in the sales cycle and estimation process
- Ensure accurate proposals and profitable project outcomes
How You Will Do It:
- Strengthen your technical knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, and industry standards
- Develop and execute strategies to meet annual sales and growth targets
- Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, bill of materials, and tender submissions
- Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to build accurate cost models
- Lead negotiations to secure profitable projects and ensure timely payment collection
- Deliver monthly reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer satisfaction
- Identify customer needs, generate new leads, and maintain long-term client partnerships
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and report market insights to support strategic positioning
- Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate handoff and successful project delivery
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards with integrity
What We Look For:
- Experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or technical sales/estimating
- A strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and project scopes
- A self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach with a true hunter mentality
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to translate customer needs into complete technical solutions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and accounts
- Fluency in spoken and written English
