About the Role

Provides custodial services and supports events primarily in Shriver Center; performs a variety of custodial tasks related to setting up events and maintaining the university's buildings, facilities, and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs event set ups
• Picks up trash and/or litter from university buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles
• Sweeps and mops rooms and hallways; dusts and performs general cleaning of rooms; cleans windows
• Vacuums and shampoos carpets; strips and waxes floors; cleans and sanitizes restrooms
• Picks up and/or delivers equipment and supplies
• Performs cleaning/washing duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• No prior experience required
• May require a valid driver’s license

Skills

• Ability to understand and follow directions and room set ups
• Knowledge of the use of cleaning equipment and materials
