Assistant Building Services Worker - Custodial

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, furniture, restrooms, and common areas
• Emptying trash
• Stocking supplies
• Removing snow and ice from walkways

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and under general supervision
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Experience in building services or custodial work preferred
• Union experience with The Communications Workers of America preferred

• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Pay

• $15.00/hr. starting pay
• Structured union increases after one year

Schedule

• Third shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Second shift opportunities available
