About the role
The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales at C3 Industries' dispensaries. This position requires a strong commitment to meeting individual sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide top-tier customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and conversion rate goals.
- Greet customers and verify ID for state-required forms.
- Update customer information in the system as needed.
- Maintain the waiting room and sales floor during downtime.
- Educate customers on cannabis properties and help them select appropriate strains.
- Fill online orders efficiently and maintain customer experience.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to management if necessary.
- Maintain product and strain knowledge and stay updated on cannabis trends.
- Accurately use and manage the point of sale (POS) system.
- Comply with company cash handling policies and perform daily cash management.
- Aid in product intake, inventory counts, and audits.
- Support compliance with dispensary policies and assist with daily operations.
Requirements
- 1+ years’ customer service experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
- Ability to meet Key Performance Indicators regularly.
- Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to state and local regulations (preferred).
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state licenses based on work location.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
