About the role
The Budget Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing budget data, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models using Excel and other tools
- Analyze budget data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial strategies
- Support cost-benefit analysis and forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial planning principles
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables
- Experience with financial modeling software such as Cognos, Hyperion, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

- $60,000 - $75,000 annually
