Responsibilities
- Provides analytical and reconciliation support in the preparation of budget modifications
- Affords support to management in documenting and forecasting expenses
- Proactively communicates and collaborates with all levels of management to analyze expenses
- Participatory team member that shares knowledge and communicates analysis progress and issues as needed
- Analyzes financial information, makes journal entries and determines the most effective means of handling accounting transactions
- Participates in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports which accurately reflect the financial position of the agency
- Prepares and updates annual budget templates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Accounting or Finance; Two (2) years’ experience working in accounting or financial forecasting skills preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, including multiple worksheet files and macros; and word processing software
- Detail oriented, strong organization and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines
- Experience managing multiple priorities with ability to make changes when needed
- Experience working in a team environment
- Prior budget, forecasting, and expense experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel (knowledge of macros is a plus)

Pay
$55,000 to $65,000/yr.
Schedule
Full-time; Monday-Friday, 40 hours
