BSL III HVAC Technician - 2nd Shift

About the Role

As a BSL III HVAC Technician, you will support the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all site-wide equipment to maintain a quality Class A environment in GMP, GLP, and non-GMP facilities at the Swiftwater site.

Responsibilities

• Multitask, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, and evaluate and repair site-wide equipment.
• Work on intricate and site-specific equipment and systems, including GMP, GLP, and non-GMP areas.
• Support 24/7 GMP production environment with maintenance under regulated conditions.
• Execute preventive/corrective maintenance with HSE considerations (permits, PTW, LOTO).
• Ensure WO accuracy and completeness, and contribute to continuous improvement for maintenance operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial and process equipment, including:
• Refrigerated cold boxes and freezers
• Autoclaves
• Process control devices
• Pump repairs, rebuilds, and replacements
• Motor replacement and alignment
• Refrigerators, freezers, and incubators
• Process chillers and temperature control units
• Water For Injection (WFI), Clean Steam, RO/DI, and Purified water systems
• Valve and piping system repairs
• Air Handling Unit Operations
• Bearing replacement and belt tensioning/alignment
• Work with VFDs, VAVs, steam principles, and JCI Metasys Systems.
• Interface closely with customers to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient equipment operation and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associate degree with 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, or
• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• In-depth equipment knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of precision maintenance concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge and experience with troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Relevant training and certifications in maintenance or related fields.
• Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• High voltage > 50 volts.
• Steam, hot water, compressed air, waste water.

Employment Conditions

• Must be in the Medical Surveillance Program.
• Support 24/7 coverage of BSLIII facility.
• Participate in FBI Clearances.
• Pass and maintain N95 and Full-Face Respirators Certification.
