HVAC Technician - 2nd Shift

Role Overview: The BSL III HVAC Technician supports the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of site-wide equipment to ensure a quality GMP, GLP, and non-GMP environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will interact with various support teams, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities Multitask and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to maintain optimal equipment operation.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex equipment such as autoclaves, chillers, pumps, and process control devices.Read schematics, interpret blueprints, and work on electrical systems up to 480V.Ensure safety protocols, including permits, LOTO, and PTW, are followed.Work with minimal notice, including overtime, to support manufacturing needs.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 2+ years experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years experience in equipment maintenance.Strong troubleshooting skills, equipment knowledge, and understanding of precision maintenance.Preferred electrical expertise, maintenance certifications, and familiarity with CMMS systems.Physical ability to lift over 20 lbs, work in temperature extremes, and wear protective gear.Ability to support 24/7 operations, participate in medical surveillance, and pass respirator certifications.
