HVACR Tech - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, service, and properly adjust all compressors, pumps, boilers, blowers, refrigeration and heating units, ventilating equipment, cooling towers, and water‑treating units.
• Make all necessary repairs to utility equipment (except air compressors) and perform mechanical repairs on any electrical parts related to such equipment.
• Connect and adjust controls, control systems, ducts, and pipes required for successful operation of the equipment.
• Perform the same functions on all pneumatic and hydraulic equipment used throughout plant facilities, excluding production machinery.
• Use maintenance machine tools and perform bench operations to service and repair utility equipment as required.
• May direct and instruct other maintenance personnel.
• Utilize all necessary tools, equipment, and measuring instruments required to perform the duties.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience as an Operating Engineer of utility equipment.
• At least one (1) year of experience installing and operating heating and air‑conditioning equipment (single or multiple units of 50 HP or more).
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR): U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident (green card holder), political asylee, or refugee. Non‑U.S. persons must meet eligibility requirements for access to export‑restricted information.
