Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship
• Assist with non-medical hands-on care including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and assistance with transfers
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Provide pet care
• Transport residents to doctor's appointments and other errands
• Provide medication reminders
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
• Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care
• Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift
• Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs
• Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy

Requirements

• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required
• Must maintain certification
