Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical hands-on care including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and assistance with transfers.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
• Handle pet care responsibilities as assigned.
• Transport residents to doctor’s appointments and other errands.
• Remind residents about medication schedules.
• Ensure the well-being and quality of life for seniors through compassionate care and companionship.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course.
• Maintain current certification as a CNA/STNA.
• Pass a background check.
• Be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working with seniors.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

Essential skills for this role include:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Good physical stamina and strength.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.

Pay

Base pay in the range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
