CNA Home Care

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care in resident homes located on campus.
• Promote independent living activities, provide quality assistance with activities of daily living to enable residents to maintain independent living for as long as appropriate and possible.
• Absorb and report changes in behavior/appearance to the RN immediately.
• Perform assigned tasks in emergency situations including fire, electrical and disasters.
• Provide a compliant calendar of availability to the scheduling department by the 15th of every month containing all required elements to maintain PRN status.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA certification or working towards one.
• First Aid/CPR Certified.
• One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred but not required.
• Need to have reliable transportation.

Pay

CNA PRN Pay range: $17.00 - $19.13 per hour depending on experience.
CNA AIL and Full-time CNA range: $17.50 - $19.70 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-Time: 8:00am - 4:00pm with rotational weekends.
PRN: All Shifts (8-Hour Shifts; detailed at the bottom of this post):
The schedule will depend on your availability in addition to the company’s.
Must meet PRN requirements: work 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays monthly; work 8 total shifts monthly; must work either Thanksgiving OR Christmas.
